Ex-defender John Paintsil implores Ghanaians to support Black Stars
Former Ghana defender, John Paintsil has called for support for the senior national team, the Black Stars.
The Black Stars has dominated the local media for the wrong reasons following their two 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifying games.
Ghana recorded a 1-0 win at the Cape Coast Stadium against Ethiopia.
In the second Group G game, the West African country suffered a 1-0 defeat to the Bafana Bafana of South Africa at the FNB Stadium.
CK Akonnor, who is the head coach of the side’s future is uncertain after the two games played.
However, Paintsil who made the Black Stars right-back position his bonafide property during his playing days, maintains the boys will soon come good.

The former Ghana captain was appointed as the coach for the Black Stars in 2020, replacing Kwasi Appiah on a two-year deal.
He was deputy to Coach Appiah before being handed the mandate to coach the team.
