Exclusive: Nasiru Mohamed is suing Levski for nearly a million
The player who received the highest salary in Levski – Nasiru Mohamed is suing the club. The Ghanaian midfielder is waiting for BGN 850,000 from the “blues”, reports “Tema Sport”.
He terminated his contract with the club during the spring half-season due to unpaid salaries. The 27-year-old then started training with the Swedish Hecken, and then signed a contract with this club.
It was from Heken that Levski attracted Mohamed in the summer of 2019. Then he arrived at the insistence of Peter Hubchev, and for his rights the blues paid about 300 thousand euros.
Even after his debut – 0: 3 during the visit of the Cypriot AEK Larnaca, the coach sharply criticized him for his performance and said that he had not learned how to play defensively. This seemed to predetermine the future of the Gerena player, as he never managed to establish himself in the starting lineup.
In 2019/20 Nasiru was on the field in a total of 14 matches in all tournaments, in which he scored 2 goals. In 2020/21 he participated in 21 matches – 18 in the first league and 3 for the cup, scoring once in the elite. He was also one of Gerena’s most expensive players, and he was one of the biggest disappointments.
