Exclusive: UEFA Champions League side wants young Ghanaian defender Maxwell Woledzi

Ghanaian youngster Maxwell Woledzi has emerged as a transfer target for UEFA Champions League side, FC Sheriff Tiraspol, Footballghana.com can report.

The 20-year-old who plies his trade for Danish side FC Nordjaelland has struggled for playing time at the club.

He has featured 16 times for the club, starting only 5 in the process.

According to bold.dk’s, FC Nordsjælland is open to selling the Ghanaian defender whose development does not benefit from the lack of fixed playing time.

However, the enterprising defender is reported to have courted interest for several clubs including the Moldovan giants.

But Sheriff Tiraspol bid for the Ghanaian was rejected by his outfit FC Nordjaelland.

Woledzi who joined the club in 2019 current contract will elapse in the summer of 2023.
