Felix Afena-Gyan listed among top 10 youngsters to shine in Qatar

Ghana is one among FIFA’s top ten prospects for the 2022 World Cup, which will be held in Qatar.

FIFA has announced 10 outstanding stars who will help to make the 2022 World Cup in Qatar a success. One of them was a Ghanaian from Group H, which also includes Korea, Uruguay, and Portugal.

Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund, Gavi of Barcelona, Pedri of Barcelona, Florian Wirtz of Leverkusen and Jamal Musiala of Bayern Munich, who are doing well with their clubs were included.

Among the ten players, AS Roma’s Felix Afena-Gyan stood out. Afena-Gyan is a member of Ghana’s Black Stars and is regarded as one of the players to watch in Group H. He is also touted as Jose Mourinho’s best prospect at Roma.

Felix Afena-Gyan was involved in the World Cup playoff doubleheader against the Super Eagles of Nigeria last month.

He has played fifteen games for Roma this season and scored two goals.
