Free agent Kwadwo Asamoah linked with a move to Napoli

Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah has been linked with a move to Serie A side Napoli.

The former Juventus and Inter Milan star is currently without a club after leaving Cagliari after expiration of his contract.

He joined Cagliari last January on a short stint making nine appearances in the Serie A but could not make his deal permanent at the end of the campaign.

He failed to secure a move in the just-ended summer transfer window but is still eligible to sign for any club of his choice since he is a free agent.

However, according to reports in the Italian media outlets, the former Liberty Professionals marksman could join Napoli who are keen to sign a left-back in the January transfer window.
