French Ligue 1 side Bordeaux target Ghanaian midfielder Elisha Owusu
French Ligue 1 outfit Girondins de Bordeaux have targeted signing Ghanaian midfielder Elisha Owusu ahead of the 2021/22 football season.
The enterprising midfielder who currently ply his trade in Belgium for KAA Gent has become a transfer target for Bordeaux.
With the club expected to lose Toma Basic and Ruben Pardo, they have set sights on signing the 23-year old as replacement.
Sporting Director of Bordeaux Admar Lopez has targeted several players this summer with Elisha Owusu no exception.
It is believed Bordeaux have made first contact in their bid to sign the player but they will have to sell before recruiting.
Meanwhile, Elisha Owusu is contracted to KAA Gent until June 2023.
