Getafe midfielder Sabit Abdulai undergoes successful surgery

Ghana and Getafe midfielder Sabit Abdulai underwent successful surgery after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right ankle.

The 22-year-old suffered an injury in Getafe B friendly game against Stade Rennes last Wednesday played at the La Manga.

Sabit was substituted after sustaining a bad injury in the pre-season friendly game.

The enterprising midfielder who joined Getafe this summer from Extremadura for €500,000 is expected to miss most part of the 2021/22 Spanish Segunda B due to the injury.

The former Ghana U-20 player is facing a long-term out with his injury.
