Published

On the occasion of Ramadan, President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku is wishing all Muslims a very fruitful Ramadan.

The holy month of Ramadan, is a time when Muslims are encouraged to give to charity, strengthen their relationship with God, and show kindness and patience.

Ramadan is considered to be an act of worship, which enables Muslims to feel closer to God and strengthen their spiritual health and self-discipline.

May the passion and unity that come with the game reflect in every moment. Just as our beloved sport, Ramadan teaches us to practice self-discipline, be pious in our doings and also maintaining self-control. I pray this holy month comes with all the joy and goodness it has to offer.

I send my warmest greetings and well wishes to all Muslims in the football industry. It is worth mentioning that your contribution to the growth of the game is enormous and unprecedented. I know we are not in normal times but you have been absolutely amazing in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic.

May we be protected and guided in this holy month of Ramadan.
