Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac reveals how World Cup qualification will mean to him

Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has said that he will be the happiest man on earth should the Black Stars secure qualification to the 2022 FIFA World Cup next year.

Ghana will play host to the Bafana Bafana of South Africa at the Cape Coast Stadium in the final group encounter on Sunday.

The Black Stars were held to a 1-1 draw at the Orlando stadium in Johannesburg in the penultimate qualifier on Thursday.

The four-time African Champions must, however, beat South Africa at all cost in the final group game to secure qualification to the final playoffs.

South Africa has extended their lead in Group G after inflicting a 1-0 win over Zimbabwe at the FnB stadium last night.

“We really hope to qualify for the World Cup. This is our agenda and every person here, everyone in the football association, technical team and the players are all working towards the same thing,” Rajevac said.

“If we qualify for the World Cup, I will be the happiest man on earth. Definitely, we will all give our best to make that happen because we cannot predict the future.
