Ghana defender Gideon Mensah looking forward to Ronaldo’s challenge after crazy experience with Messi
Ghana international Gideon Mensah is looking forward to playing against Cristiano Ronaldo after crazy experience with Lionel Messi.
Mensah, who is on loan at Bordeaux featured when they faced Paris Saint Germain in the French Ligue 1 last month.
The Red Bull Salzburg owned player came on as a substitute and had the opportunity to play against Messi for the first time in his career.
With Ghana being paired against Portugal in Group H of the World Cup draw, Mensah is looking forward to playing against the Manchester United star after tough experience against Messi.
“It was crazy playing against Lionel Messi in the French Ligue 1 in Paris this season but I’m also looking forward to the Ronaldo challenge later this year”, he told Joy Sports in an interview.
Mensah played an instrumental role in the Black Stars World Cup qualification over Nigeria.
He played in both legs and was impressive for Otto Addo’s side as they secured their fourth World Cup qualification.
