Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila features as Muaither SC suffer defeat to Andre Ayew’s Al Sadd in Qatar Emir Cup
Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila put up a splendid performance as Muaither SC suffered a defeat to Andre Ayew’s Al Sadd in the Qatar Emir Cup on Sunday.
The defender saw full action but unfortunately suffered a defeat with his outfit. Yusuf Abdurisag’s goal on the 13th minute settled the encounter.
Sumaila recently secured a move to the Qatari second-tier side and has been impressive since joining the club.
He scored on his debut in the league for Muaither SC against Lusail SC.
Meanwhile, Rashid Sumaila’s compatriot Andre Ayew played a part in his side win.
He came off the bench to replace Algerian star Baghdad Bounedjah on the 64th minute.
