Ghana FA Ex.Co member Sammy Anim Addo reacts to Hearts of Oak victory over CI Kamsar
Ghana Football Association Executive Council member Sammy Anim Addo has congratulated Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak following their victory over Guinean side CI Kamsar on Sunday.
The Phobians inflicted a 2-0 win over their opponents at the Accra Sports Stadium to progress to the next stage of the competition.
Hearts of Oak played behind closed doors in the preliminary stages of the Champions League.
Despite playing without fans, they managed to beat their Guinean opponents courtesy Kofi Kordzi and Salim Adams strike ten minutes to full time.
Reacting to the victory, he said, “Congratulations Hearts of Oak, you gave the promise and you honored. Ghana is proud of you, the GFA is proud of you, Togbe is proud of you and the fans too. Keep pushing as this is just the beginning of great things to come. Phooobiaaaa Fire” he posted on social media.
Hearts of Oak will take on Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca next month with the winner of both ties progressing to the group stages whereas the loser will drop to the CAF Confederations Cup.
