Ghana forward Bernard Tekpetey scores to inspire Ludogorets to heavy win in Bulgarian league

Ghana international, Bernard Tekpetey was on target on Sunday evening as he helped his Ludogorets outfit to hammer Botev Plovdiv 3-0 in the Bulgarian top-flight league.

The exciting winger today started for his team in the home match serving as a matchday 25 encounter of the 2021/22 Bulgarian top-flight league.

Just 10 minutes into the first half, Bernard Tekpetey opened the scoring with a fine effort to complete a well-worked team move.

Nine minutes later, the Ghana attacker was involved when his team doubled their lead. This time around, it was Olivier Berdon whose shot found the back of the Botev Plovdiv net.

Later in the second half, a strike from Cauly Oliveria Souza sealed a 3-0 win for Ludogorets as the team bagged the maximum points at full time.

Courtesy of the victory today, Bernard Tekpetey and his team are top of the Bulgarian top-flight league.

If the team clinches the title, it will be the second consecutive league title that the Ghana winger has won with the club since his permanent switch from Schalke 04.
