Ghana forward Caleb Ekuban joins Trabzonspor teammates for pre-season after weeks of delay
Ghana international, Caleb Ekuban has finally returned to Trabzonspor and has joined his teammates for pre-season.
Although players of the Turkish Super Lig outfit reported to camp to begin pre-season training late last month, the attacker did not show up due to urgent matters he had to attend to.
On multiple occasions, he missed the deadline to report to camp but made sure he stayed in touch with officials of the team.
Over the weekend, Caleb Ekuban finally reported to camp and has immediately joined his Trabzonspor teammates for pre-season.
According to sources, he has held fruitful talks with the team’s head coach and explained to the satisfaction of the gaffer why he reported to camp late.
Despite the latest development, Caleb Ekuban’s future at Trabzonspor remains unclear. Not only is he wanted by French Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne, but he is also high on the wishlist of Italian club Genoa.
