Ghana forward Christopher Antwi-Adjei down with muscular injury at VfL Bochum
Ghana international Christopher Antwi-Adjei is racing to be fit in time for VfL Bochum’s next match after picking up a muscular injury in the last outing.
Last weekend when the club opened its 2021/2023 German Bundesliga campaign, the exciting attacker featured for the side.
Unfortunately, he felt a discomfort after picking up a muscular injury. In pain and suffering, Christopher Antwi-Adjei had to come off and did not play the entire duration of the match.
According to the latest information coming in, the forward has not fully recovered but is expected to return to training with his teammates on Thursday.
He will hope to build on his fitness and be in the best shape possible to have the slightest chance to play for his team next weekend.
VfL Bochum on matchday 2 of the new German Bundesliga season will host FSV Mainz 05 at the Vonovia Ruhrstadion.
The match will be played on Saturday and will kick off at 3:30 p.m.
