Ghana forward Daniel-Kofi Kyereh disappointed with St. Pauli's defeat to Union Berlin

Ghanaian international, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh has expressed sadness at his FC St. Pauli outfit’s defeat at the hands of Union Berlin in the DFB Pokal on Tuesday night.

The talented attacker was in action for his club yesterday when they locked horns with the quarter-final opponent of the domestic cup competition.

In a game where the Black Stars asset excelled, he scored the opening goal for FC St. Pauli in the 21st minute of the first half.

Unfortunately for his team, two goals from Union Berlin on the stroke of halftime and in the second half condemned FC St. Pauli to a defeat.

Commenting on the result at the end of the game, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh said it was a bitter defeat.

“It was a bitter defeat,” the attacking midfielder said.

The player has been in top form this season and is one of the players that will be invited to the Black Stars squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff game against Nigeria later this month.
