Ghana forward KP Boateng absent from Hertha Berlin training ahead of crucial Stuttgart encounter
Ghana international, Kevin-Prince Boateng was absent from training on Thursday when his Hertha Berlin teammates worked on the turf ahead of this weekend’s clash against VfB Stuttgart.
The experienced forward was in action with his team last weekend when the Blue and Whites secured an important 1-0 win against Augsburg in the German Bundesliga.
This weekend, Hertha Berlin will face off with VfB Stuttgart in what will be a matchday 31 encounter of the ongoing 2021/22 football season.
According to information gathered, Hertha Berlin’s technical team is treading cautiously to ensure it fields a strong squad for this weekend’s game.
As a result, KP Boateng whose fitness has been problematic all season was left to rest on Thursday when the team trained.
Although fans are concerned the player could not be fit in time for the Stuttgart game, close sources say KP Boateng will be able to play in the match.
He is a leader whose services will be crucial for Hertha Berlin in the remainder of the German Bundesliga campaign.
