Ghana forward Richmond Boakye-Yiadom powers Beitar Jerusalem to victory over Hapoel

Ghana international Richmond Boakye-Yiadom crowned an impressive performance with a goal for Beitar Jerusalem, who beat Hapoel Jerusalem in the Israeli Liga on Saturday.

The 29-year-old scored the match winner in the Jerusalem derby at the Teddy Stadium in relegation play-offs.

The Black Stars forward goal came in the 66th minute after an excellent cross from midfielder Oren Bitton.

Boakye-Yiadom’s side had to play with ten men at some point in time but were able to secure all points at stake.

The vital victory has ensured Beitar move up on the league standings with a 8-point gap between them and the relegation zone.

The former Red Star Belgrade striker has scored 6 goals and provided 2 assists from 26 appearances in the Israeli top division.
