Ghana is behind you; make us proud against Nigeria – Dr. Bawumia charges Black Stars
The Vice President of Ghana, H.E Mahamudu Bawumia has charged the Black Stars to make the nation proud when the team takes on Nigeria later tonight.
The Black Stars are all set for the first leg of the playoff tie of the qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Ahead of kick-off later in the night, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has extended a message filled with good luck to spur on the Black Stars.
“I wish the Ghana Black Stars the best of luck tonight, as they host the Nigeria’s Super Eagles of Nigeria in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying play-off first leg in Kumasi.
“The nation is behind you, so remain determined and make us proud,” a post on the Twitter page of the Vice President has said.

Tonight’s big clash between Ghana and Nigeria is scheduled to be staged at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
The epic encounter will kick off at 19:30GMT.
