Ghana is in a difficult group says Emmanuel Agyemang Badu
Former Udinese and U20 World Cup winner midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has stated that Ghana is in a difficult group.
Ghana got to know their group and opponents yesterday afternoon. The 2022 World Cup draw was conducted in Doha the capital of host nation Qatar.
The draw was attended by Ghana Football Association boss Mr. Kurt Okraku, his vice, and secretary.
Ghana is in Group H alongside Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea.
Reacting to the draw on Ashh FM the midfielder said:
“Ghana is in a difficult group, we need a formidable squad to face Uruguay “it’s a revenge”.
“South Korea has decent players and they are manageable. We can manage them,” he added.
“Uruguay is very strong they have bounced back with their new coach and if we don’t prepare well it will be difficult for us,”
“Portugal struggled a bit to qualify but they still have quality in the squad, players like Cancelo, Ruben Dias, Joao Felix, Brnuo Fernandes, Pepe, Jota and Cristano Ronaldo. If you are in this group and you don’t make good preparation and you just talk about revenge you are going to struggle,”
