Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan meets ex-Ghana FA capo Kwesi Nyantakyi ahead of book launch

Legendary Ghana forward Asamoah Gyan has paid a visit to former Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kwesi Nyantakyi.

The move by Gyan is to invite the former GFA boss to the launch of his maiden memoir on April 30, 2022.

Asamoah Gyan will unveil his first book as he details his life, career and businesses.

They say “Victory is always possible for the person who refuses to stop fighting. I presented an invitation to Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi, fmr GFA boss. Thank you, Sir, for everything” he tweeted.

The former Sunderland attacker has invited many top dignitaries including current President Nana Akufo-Addo, CAF President Patrice Motsepe and Senegal legend star El-hadji Diouf.

Ghana’s all-time leading scorer Asamoah Gyan is yet to hang his boots and his reiterated his desire to play for Asante Kotoko before ending his career.

Gyan, who is yet to announce retirement from football is currently without a club after leaving Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities last season.

But according him, if he will return to playing football, he will feature for his boyhood club Asante Kotoko.

“I would like to play for Asante Kotoko if I have to return [to playing football again]. I am a huge fan of the club,” Gyan told Accra-based radio station, Joy FM.
