Ghana midfielder Baba Iddrisu hospitalised after falling to the ground during Mallorca v Atl. Madrid clash

Ghana international, Baba Iddrisu was hospitalised on Saturday, April 9, 2022, in the dying minutes of the game between his RCD Mallorca outfit and Atletico Madrid.

The combative midfielder was in action for his team when the side hosted the Spanish La Liga giants.

In the 92^nd minute, Baba Iddrisu used his body as a shield to stop a ferocious shot. Unfortunately, the football hit his face, resulting in his collapse in a matter of seconds.

Subsequently, the medical team on standby immediately attended to him while conscious on the turf.

Unfortunately, the incident caused a major scare as the player himself appeared in so much distress.

Later on, the player was immediately rushed to the hospital where he spent the night under observation to ensure he is okay.

Today, information gathered from sources in Spain has disclosed that Baba Iddrisu is stable and doing very well.
