Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed leaves door open for Ghana Premier League switch

Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed has expressed his readiness to return to the Ghana Premier League.

The 31-year-old is currently a free agent after leaving Russian club FC Tambov after the expiration of his contract.

In an interview with Accra-based Hot FM, the budding midfielder indicated he is ready to make a return to the Ghanaian top-flight and play for the club who can meet his demands.

“I am very ready to play for any local club who can meet my demands, the Ghana Premier League is a competitive league and I don’t mind playing for any club who is ready for me” he said.

He featured for Liberty Professionals before he departed for greener pastures.

Rabiu Mohammed, a member of the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup winning team has capped 31 times for the Black Stars between 2011 and 2015.
