The Bafana Bafana of South Africa has been dealt with a massive blow ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup doubleheader qualifiers against Ethiopia next month.

Percy Tao, who ply his trade for Egyptian giants Al Ahly has been ruled out of the upcoming matches due to injury.

Gift Links and highly-rated young forward Luther Singh are the other names missing from the squad, as Broos has named almost the same side that played Zimbabwe away and against Ghana at home in the first round of qualifiers.
