Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana trains with Stade Rennes after AFCON exit

Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana has returned to Stade Rennes following the Black Stars elimination from the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

The 19-year-old trained with his teammates last week but missed their 2-1 defeat to Clermont Foot last Sunday.

The enterprising winger will be looking at putting a terrible AFCON behind him to concentrate on his club career.

Kamaldeen featured in all three games for Ghana but was unable to help the Black Stars progress out of the group stage.

He failed to hit the ground running for the four-time African Champions in the Central Africa country.

His return is a huge boost for Rennes who sit 5th position on the league log.
