Ghanaian attacker Kwame Kizito banned for three matches for elbowing opponent

Ghanaian international, Kwame Kizito has been handed a three match ban in Sweden following an incident where he elbowed an opponent in a match.

The Falkenbergs FF striker was in action for his team when they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Osters IF in the Swedish Superettan.

During the encounter, he elbowed an opponent and as a result was handed a straight red-card that cost his team dearly.

On grounds of flagrant indiscipline in accordance with the rules of the Swedish FA for the lower-tier league, Kwame Kizito has now been slapped with a three-match ban.

In addition, he must complete a face-to-face education after admitting to the charge for a breach of rules of the game in Sweden.

For the period he will be banned, the former Hearts of Oak attacker will miss games against GAIS, Landskrona and OIS.

Before the incident, he had been the main man for Falkenbergs after netting six goals for the club already this season.

He will not return to action until mid-October.
