Ghanaian defender Montari Kamaheni named in Israeli League team of the season
Ghanaian left back Montari Kamaheni has been named in the Israeli top-flight League team of the season after an impressive display for Ashdod.
Kamaheni featured in 25 out 26 games for the club in the regular season.
The defender made four assist and registered one goal in the process.
He also won four man of the match award in those games.
The former Dreams FC left back was also included in the team of the first round.
Ashdod finished third in the regular season and will participate in the six teams playoffs in the coming weeks.
Montari Kamaheni was recently named the best left back in 2020 by the IFFHS.
