Ghanaian forward Tahiru Awudu on target for CD Badajoz in win against Extremadura
Ghanaian international, Tahiru Awudu was on target on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, when his equalizer sealed a 2-0 win for CD Badajoz in the game against Extremadura.
The attacker yesterday missed out on a starting role but was introduced in the second half.
The decision by his head coach was to ensure his team had more attacking options on the back of a goalless scoreline from the first half.
Not letting his coach down, Tahiru Awudu scored with a fantastic effort in the 90th minute to seal a delightful 2-0 win for CD Badajoz.
In the game played at the Estadio Nuevo Vivero, Gorka Santamaria netted the other goal for the winners.
In the next game of CD Badajoz, Tahiru Awudu looks set to enjoy more playing time as a reward for his performance in the win against Extremadura.
