Ghanaian Gregory Wuthrich signs new deal with Sturm Graz

Ghanaian defender Gregory Wuthrich has signed a new contract with Austrian side, Sturm Graz, Footballghana.com can confirm.

The 26-year-old who joined the club in August 2020 has been outstanding since his arrival.

He has featured 17 times scoring two goals and providing two assists in the ongoing Austrian Bundesliga season.

Gregory Wuthrich impressive run of form caught the eye of the management of Strum Graz, hence awarding him with contract extension.

“Gregy is not only a great central defender, but also a fantastic guy and leader who leads our young defense with a lot of calm and clarity. His tackling, head ball strength and mentality make him one of our most important pillars. I am happy that he will stay with us in the team and the league”, says Graz Managing Director Sport Andreas Schicker.

The enterprising defender after extending his deal said, “We built something up together in Graz last year and we still have big plans with this team. I am delighted with the club’s trust and will try to repay it with good performance”
