Ghanaian Leeroy Owusu opens up on how he dealt with Coronavirus

Ghanaian defender Leeroy Owusu has opened up on how he dealt with Coronavirus after contracting the virus.

The Dutch-born Ghanaian who contracted the virus while on pre-season with Willem II has shared training indoors after being isolated for some days.

He returned to action against Willem II and excelled for the side in their 3-0 win over Vitesse Arnhem on home turf.

“I was not bothered by it in itself, but of course I had to quarantine for a few days,” said the right-back.

“There I was in Purmerend on my own. That was very boring. I only watched a few series on Netflix, Suits for example. And I have tried to keep my condition up with exercises, but that can never be as good as on the training field of course.” He said.
