Ghanaian midfielder Nikolas Nartey set to join Hamburg SV
Ghanaian international, Nikolas Nartey is in line to join German Bundesliga 2 outfit Hamburg SV, footballghana.com can report.
The Stuttgart midfielder made a good account of himself in pre-season but it appears it is not enough to keep him in the squad of the team for the 2021/2022 football season.
As a result, his club has opened talks with interested parties and hoping to secure a loan move for him before the summer transfer window shuts.
According to sources, talks between officials of Stuttgart and Hamburg have progressed well in the last 12 hours and a deal could be struck before midnight.
It is understood that Nikolas Nartey is eager to complete the move and is standing by to undergo his mandatory medical examination for the deal to go through.
At Hamburg SV, although he is not guaranteed a place in the team’s first eleven, he will have a big role to play for the club seeking to gain promotion to the German Bundelisga at the end of the ongoing season.
