Ghanaian trio Frimpong, Boadu, and Brobbey named in Netherlands U21 provisional squad
Ghanaian trio Jeremie Frimpong, Myron Boadu, and Brian Brobbey have been included in the Netherlands U21 squad for the upcoming European Championship qualifiers.
Frimpong, Brobbey, and Boadu were all born in Netherlands to Ghanaian parents and have been contacted by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) over playing for the Black Stars but to no avail.
Netherlands U21’s are set to start a new Euro qualifying campaign and they have said goodbye to a number of talents who are now too old to represent Jong Oranje.
Coach Erwin van de Looi has named a 32 man provisional squad with 22 of the players involved at this age level for the first time.
Ghanaian duo Myron Boadu and Brian Brobbey, together with Sven Botman and Mitchel Bakker are among the big names in the squad.
