Ghanaian youngster Felix Afena Gyan becomes the youngest AS Roma player to score brace since 1927

Ghanaian teenage sensation Felix Afena Gyan is the youngest AS Roma player to bag a brace since 1927 after heroics in Genoa win.

The 18-year-old came off the bench in the 75th minute of Roma’s game at Genoa, and netted a late double to give the Giallorossi a 2-0 win.

He broke the deadlock in the 82nd minute and then added a stunning long-range strike in injury time to wrap up the points at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

The enterprising forward left Ghana early this year to join the Italian side and has hit the ground running.

His brace against Genoa makes him the youngest player in the club’s history to hit a brace for the Giallorossi (at 18 years and 306 days) in 94 years.
