Ghana's Edmund Addo fit after suffering slight injury in his UCL debut against Shakhtar Donetsk

Ghanaian midfielder Edmund Addo has been given the green light to play this weekend when FC Sheriff travel to FC Zimbru on matchday 9 of the Moldovan National Division.

Addo suffered a toe injury after falling awkwardly between two opposing players of Shakhtar Donetsk at centre circle in the 82nd minute of his Champions League group stage debut.

This prompted the referee to halt play to beckon on the medical te. Despite returning to the pitch after medical attention Edmund Addo showed signs of uneasiness

The midfielder was then substituted in the 85th minute to make way for Stjepan Radeljić. Addo has however been cleared by the club’s medical team after treatment on Thursday.
