Ghana's Godsway Donyoh out for three weeks

The Greens were dealt a severe blow Wednesday night when striker Godsway Donyoh was taken to Haifa’s “Carmel” hospital after experiencing severe abdominal pain.

Tests conducted on Donyoh at the hospital revealed that he suffers from inflammation in the appendix and should undergo surgery in the appendix soon, so he will be absent from the Greens ‘games for at least the next 3 weeks.

Donyoh will miss the Greens’ upcoming home game against Hapoel Tel Aviv as well as the intriguing Haifa derby against the Hapoel Haifa team on Saturday.

Donyoh joined Maccabi Haifa for an undisclosed fee. The striker signed for the Green and White lads from Danish SuperLiga club FC Nordsjaelland after spending four years at the club.
