Ghana’s Kevin Yeboah named player of week after explosive performance in Austrian Bundesliga
Ghanaian forward Kevin Yeboah has been named as Sky Sport Player Index best player for the third round of the Austrian Bundesliga after an explosive performance for his side Sturm Graz.
The enterprising striker who joined the club in January was instrumental for his side as they defeated SRC Altach on Saturday on home turf.
Sturm Graz defeated SRC Altach 3-1 at their own backyard with Ghanaian forward stealing the show for the side.
Yeboah scored two goals in the 59th and 79 minutes as his side amass all points at stake.
The Ghanaian attacker was named the best player of the week accumulating 614 points with Red Bull Salzburg defender Rasmus Kristensen placing second with 610 points.
The full-back provided the assist for the decisive goal in the 1-0 win over FK Austria Wien.
