Ghana’s Patrick Twumasi scores and assist in Maccabi Netanya heavy win over Maccabi Haifa

Ghana international Patrick Twumasi registered his name on the scoresheet in Maccabi Netanya heavy win over Maccabi Haifa on Saturday.

Twumasi, who joined the Israeli Premier League side in February has been impressive.

He scored and assisted another goal as Netanya inflicted 3-0 victory over Haifa at the Netanya Stadium in the Championship group play-off fixture.

Netanya opened the scoring in the 21st minute through the Ghanaian forward, who was set up by Serbian forward Igor Zlatanovic.

The former Hannover 96 striker who had a descent game assisted Zlatanovic to double Netanya’s advantage.

Zlatanovic scored his second goal in the 61st minute as Netanya walloped Haifa.

Twumasi has bagged 4 goals in 10 matches Israeli top-flight since joining the club in February.

Meanwhile, Twumasi’s compatriot Godsway Donyoh played 45 minutes for the visitors following his substitution at the halftime.
