Ghana’s Paul Ayongo scores for Academico Viseu against Academica
On Saturday afternoon, Ghanaian attacker Paul Ayongo scored the matchwinning goal for Academico Viseu in the Portuguese Secunda Liga versus Academica.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian attacker scored a penalty kick after 31 minutes of play to put Academico Viseu ahead 1-0 before the halftime break.
Despite several scoring chances generated by both teams after the interval, no goal was scored in the second period of the game.
Ayongo’s goal was enough to clinch all three points for the Black and Whites, who climbed to sixth place in the league table with 10 points after seven games.
Attacker Paul Ayongo has scored six goals in six games this season for Academico Viseu in the Portuguese Secunda Liga.
