Ghana’s qualification hinges on Thomas Partey - Agyeman Badu

Former Black Stars midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has stressed that Ghana’s success over the Nigeria team in the playoff of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers is dependent on Thomas Partey.

The Arsenal midfielder is no doubt the top player of the Black Stars ahead of the two-legged encounter between the West African giants.

Speaking to Oyerepa FM in an interview, Agyemang Badu said, “Thomas Partey is a skillful player, a good passer of the ball and he is getting his good form at Atletico Madrid back, much would depend on him in the game against Nigeria.”

The England-based midfielder could even be captain of Ghana on Friday night if goalkeeper Richard Ofori who is the second Black Stars captain does not start the game.
