GPL Preview; Chelsea & Wonders seek out first points in Bono derby
Berekum Chelsea and Techiman Eleven Wonders will both be seeking for redemption when the two clash on Sunday in the Bono derby.
Both sides were on the wrong end of defeats in their premier league openers and will be looking to grab their first points on Sunday.
Sunday’s game at the Golden City Park will be crucial to the campaign of both sides, as there will be more than three points up for grabs.
Recent meetings between Chelsea and Wonders have seen Wonders come out on top with 3 victories out of their last 5 meetings and the remainder being victories for Chelsea.
Berekum Chelsea did however win the derby when these two teams last meet at the same venue last season and fans of the Blues will be hoping for the same on Sunday afternoon.
Both sides do not have any fresh injury concerns to be worried about and both Coaches will have full-strength squads to pick from as they seek to find their first points of the season.
