GPL Report: Dreams FC 0-1 Great Olympics, Dreams suffer setback as Dade Boys end home unbeaten run
Dreams FC suffered a setback in their chase for ultimate glory this season as they lost at home to Great Olympics.
The Still Believe welcomed the Dade Boys for this Premier League Match Week 17 fixture at the Theater of Dreams at Dawu.
Every dream of making it yet another home win turned nightmarish for the home side who suffered their first home defeat in 2021.
Both teams failed to find the a goal in the first half and proceeded to the break level.
However Olympics will have Hearts sinking when they opened the scoring in the first half.
Back from the break, Olympics opened the scoring courtesy a goal from midfielder Thomas Darlington.
Thereafter the away side will defend majestically to ensure they ended up with all 4 points.
The win ends Dreams’ 5 game winning run at home. For Great Olympics, this is their first away win outside the Accra Sports Stadium this season.
Great Olympics stay second on the league log on 30 points, one less than league leaders Karela United. Dreams FC drop out of the Top 4. They now occupy the 5th sport on 26 points.
