Hearts include ‘club-less’ player in their CAF CL squad
Ghanaian Champions Accra Hearts of Oak have included ‘club-less’ midfielder Benjamin Afutu Kotey in their CAF Champions League squad.
Afutu’s contract with the Phobians has come to an end and both negotiating parties have hit a deadlock in their renewal talks.
The 25 year old was instrumental last season a Hearts of Oak won the Premier League and FA Cup double. His contract situation has therefore proved shocking for Hearts fans who want the see the situation resolved as soon as possible.
His inclusion in the squad however gives hope that management are on the verge of finally reaching an agreement with the player’s representatives.
Presently, Afutu’s status is unattached as declared by his manager Daniel William Takyi.
