“Hearts of Oak are capable of winning the title” – Bashir Hayford
Legon Cities head coach Bashir Hayford has says Hearts of Oak are capable of winning the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League title following their 1-2 win against his side on Thursday night.
According the experience coach, the Phobians will have to improve their goal-scoring and double up their output in the final minutes of their last four games.
Hearts despite beating Legon Cities struggled in the final minutes and Hayford believes they will have to work on that if not things will be difficult for them in the final four games.
“Hearts of Oak are capable of winning the title this season but I’ll advise Hearts of Oak to take care of their finishing and also they should double up in the final minutes of every game,” Hayford said after the game.
“We could have created problem for them in the second half if there were more minutes to be played. Hearts of Oak is a good team but they should work on their finishing”
Hearts of Oak reclaimed their top spot on the season’s league log after a convincing win over Legon Cities and will be hoping to secure all the need points against their bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko this weekend to extend their lead.
