Hearts of Oak midfielder Benjamin Afutu suspended for Inter Allies clash
Hearts of Oak will have to cope without Benjamin Afutu for their Ghana Premier League clash at home to Inter Allies on Sunday.
The midfielder will miss the Regional derby through suspension due to accumulated yellow cards in games against Legon Cities FC, Berekum Chelsea and AshantiGold SC last weekend.
This is in line with Article 28(1)(e) of the GFA Premier League Regulations (2019) which states that “An unqualified player is a player who has received a caution in three league matches.”
It’s a big blow for the Phobians ahead of what could be a crucial week in the Premier League title race.
