Accra Hearts had to settle for a draw against Ebusua Dwarfs at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in match week 32 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.

Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs were on the verge of securing a shocking victory against league leaders Accra Hearts of Oak to keep the title race open.

The Phobians were looking to get within touching distance of their long-awaited Premier League trophy since 2009 when they travelled to play Dwarfs in Cape Coast.

But Dwarfs did not only threaten that objective but also went close to ending their 9 games unbeaten run in the league.

The two sides failed to produce any clear cut chances throughout the game but Ebusua Dwarfs through their skipper conjured a moment of magic to take the lead.

With his team winning a free-kick at the edge of the Hearts penalty box in the 82nd minute, skipper Denis Korsah fired home a low and unstoppable shot which beat goalkeeper Richard Attah.

The Phobians for the first time in 9 games looked like recording a defeat until Kwadwo Obeng Junior converted from a long pass from Fatawu in added time to get a point for the Phobians.

The draw means that Accra Hearts of Oak still have their 3 point lead intact and could win the trophy at home if they win against Liberty Professionals in week 33.
