Hearts of Oak’s coach worried about club’s winless run this season
Hearts of Oak assistant coach Hamza Obeng has expressed worry about the club’s torrid start to the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
The Phobians are yet to pick a win after three matches into the season. They have shared the spoils in their first three games.
The reigning league champions were held to 1-1 draw at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Kofi Kordzi opened the scoring for the home side before the visitors restored parity through Bright Adjei who scored from the spot.
Speaking after the game, Hamza Obeng said the entire team is worried about their slow start to the season but has promised to work hard to get back on track.
“We are too worried about our winless run this season but we are working harder to overcome our mistakes, it keeps on occurring but hopefully in our next games there will be a different play altogether” he said.
Hearts of Oak have accumulated just three points from a possible 9 after 3 matches.
