High-flying Asante Kotoko begin preparations for Bechem United meeting
Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko have today commenced preparations for the clash against Bechem United next weekend.
The Kumasi-based club last Saturday played its first match of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season.
Although the team struggled, it had the quality to come from behind to hammer Dreams FC 3-1 at the end of an exciting contest.
Now second on the league table after matchday 1, Asante Kotoko is gearing up to maintain the momentum to ensure they challenge for the league title.
Today, players and the technical team have resumed training after resting on Sunday.
Players are expected to continue training from today till Thursday, before facing matchday 2 opponent Bechem United.
If Kotoko comes out with the three points from that game, they should go top of the Ghana Premier League table.
