I almost joined PEC Zwolle this summer – Attacker John Yeboah reveals
German-born Ghanaian attacker, John Yeboah has disclosed that he almost joined PEC Zwolle from William II Tilburg this summer.
The young attacker joined Willem II Tilburg from VfL Wolfsburg in 2020 but could not cement a place in the team due to injuries and issues relating to Coronavirus (Covid-19).
With his inability to convince the technical handlers of his team, officials opened the doors to have him transferred on loan to ensure he gets to play regularly.
According to him, he was on the brink of joining PEC Zwolle but the deal could not go through.
“We came to the conclusion together that I would be better off making minutes elsewhere. With PEC Zwolle everything was as good as finished.
“I didn’t want to, I felt uncomfortable with the whole situation. I didn’t understand anymore. I remain? Am I leaving? It was all very strange,” John Yeboah opened up in a recent interview.
