I have not been paid for four months – Kotoko assistant coach Johnson Smith

Asante Kotoko assistant coach Johnson Smith has disclosed he has been paid for the past four months.

Smith, who joined the Porcupine Warriors in October 2019 from Karela United is set to depart the club following the appointment of two new assistant coaches of David Ocloo and John Eduafo.

Earlier reports suggested the Kumasi based club has shown him the exit door.

But according to Smith, who has two-months left on his contract, he has not received any contract termination letter from the club.

The 53-year-old has therefore called on the Ghanaian giants to do the right thing.

“My contract will expire in November and I have not been paid for four months, so I am waiting for them to do the right things” he added.
