I have the qualities to coach the Black Stars but bad structures will not help me succeed – Augustine Arhinful
Augustine Arhinful, a former Ghana striker, has stated that he had the necessary attributes to coach the Black Stars, but bad structures will not allow him to succeed.
Ghana was eliminated from the ongoing 33rd Africa Cup of Nations with just one point and our trip to Cameroon has been marked as a total failure.
When asked in an interview if he is capable of managing the Black Stars, Arhinful conceded that he had the abilities to do so, but was quick to add that the system will frustrate him and cause him to fail.
“I am capable of coaching Black Stars because I have the certificate that merits to coach any team,” he told Wontumi Sports
“I know my qualities as a person and as a coach but I prefer to stay focused and do what I love doing because the mentality of our administrators in the country is poor and they can frustrate you to fail and that is ruining our football,” he concluded.
According to reports coach Milovan Rajevac has been sacked after Ghanaians and also the Ministry of Youth and Sports lost faith in him.
